Amici d’Italia is a new Italian-American heritage group based in Orange County, California whom wanted a logo… but weren’t quite sure what. So, I designed three very different logos to give them a range of options. One of my concepts was inspired by a vintage wine label from an old castle in Tuscany, then I capped the design with the the Statue of Liberty's crown. The group voted, and that design became their official logo, but not without a "tough" vote I've been told.
