The client felt the Catalina Islander Magazine had an outdated look and asked me to refresh it. A full redesign gave new life to this full-color publication, which is distributed year-round to over 5,500 locations both on and off the island (and on the boat to it!). My goal was not only to bring the island’s unique charm to life through clean, vibrant layouts—but also to deliver a fresh, current take on its folkloric appeal.
